Revival Fest

MUSIC - BEER - BOURBON - SOUTHERN FARE

Revival Fest is a modern low-country hoedown. It’s a celebration of things we love deeply in the South: a fresh roasted pig, a steaming hot low-country shrimp boil, locally crafted beers and spirits and a day filled with great music in a truly historic setting.

PORTLAND, OR

Americana Rock and Roll

No Indie band tells better band campfire tales than these flannel-clad Oregonians.
— Rolling Stone

After more than fourteen years and eight albums, Blitzen Trapper have cemented their place as one of the most beloved Americana rock and roll bands of the new millennium. Raised on folk and bluegrass music, singer, guitarist and songwriter Eric Earley incorporates his influence from his early childhood and teenage years into his sound and musical creation, exploring and traveling through genres such as: old-timey folk, bluegrass, country, psychedelia, soul, prog, garage, metal, classical rock of the ‘70s and ‘80s, and occasional side trips into hip-hop, skewed pop and noisey freakouts. Other band members include Erik Menteer (guitar, keyboard), Brian Adrian Koch (drums, vocals), Michael Van Pelt (bass), Drew Laughery (keyboard), and Marty Marquis (keyboard, vocals).

From a small mill town to Portland,Oregon, Blitzen Trapper’s eighth studio album, All Across This Land as Earley mentions, is perhaps the best representation of what Blitzen Trapper sounds like live. Listened anywhere else Blitzen Trapper is Perceived as an Indie Folk act, but live the band sounds more hard rock.

On stage Blitzen Trapper reveals their hard rock influences and establish that while their sound is inspired by folk and bluegrass, they are clearly much more than that.
