Revival Fest is a modern low-country hoedown. It’s a celebration of things we love deeply in the South: a fresh roasted pig, a steaming hot low-country shrimp boil, locally crafted beers and spirits and a day filled with great music in a truly historic setting.

Revival Fest Confirms Georgia Craft Beers, Pacci Pig Roast And Final Event Details for September 20th Southern Music Festival

Thirty five vendors and sponsors to participate in 2nd annual event to be held at Georgia State Railroad Museum. Do Savannah and GPB Savannah confirmed as Stage Sponsors.

September 11th, 2014, Savannah, Ga: MusicFile Productions, LLC confirmed today the final event details for the 2nd Annual Revival Fest which will take place Saturday, September 20th at the Georgia State Railroad Museum from noon to 11pm.

The festival, which celebrates the best in Southern music across all genres, will feature two stages with fourteen bands from seven Southern states, including local Savannah bands Waits & Co, Velvet Caravan, and Sweet Thunder Strolling Band.Futurebirds, David Wax MuseumRoadkill Ghost Choir and Cedric Burnside will headline. Burnside will also play a private concert at a Kickoff Event on Friday, September 19th at Pacci Restaurant in the Brice Hotel, sponsored in part by Savannah Magazine. Tickets for the kickoff event are $60 per person.

Pacci and Chef Roberto Leoci will also provide a pig roast at the festival on Saturday, featuring local whole smoked hog with an assortment of Leoci’s and Pacci barbeque sauces for $8.00 per plate. Hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie wraps will also be available from Bayou Cafe.

Local and regional craft breweries will be featured at the festival, including Southbound, Red Hare, and Moon River as well as  Service Brewing Company who will debut their Oktoberfest Marzen beer “Tuefel Hunden” (aka Devil Dog) at the festival. The full menu of beer offerings is available here.

Local cocktail lounge Ampersand will be curating bourbon-based specialty drinks created specifically for the event and inspired by Revival Fest bands. For example, “Dirty Bourbon Lemonade” with blackberries and basil simple syrup was created with Revival Fest performer New Orleans’s Dirty Bourbon River Show in mind. Also on the festival grounds will be the Revival Fest Marketplace, featuring local artisans, retailers and  entrepreneurs including Lovelane Designs, Satchel, Prospector Co, Roots Up Gallery, Steam Printing (who will be printing Revival Fest T-shirts on-site), KMM & Co, 13 Bricks Clothing, Dept 7 East’s Marche, ASI - Traditional Yaupon Tea, Perc Coffee, King of Pops, Bruce Julian’s Best Bloody Mary Mix and Art Rise Savannah (who will be showcasing Vinyl Spin Art on old records). Revival Fest is an all-ages event. Re-entry is permitted with festival wristband. For those who wish to ride a bicycle to the festival, a bike valet will be provided by Savannah Bicycle Campaign.  Parking will also be available at Garrison Elementary School located at 649 West Jones Street. Folding chairs are allowed. No coolers permitted.
